Local Favorite - Denise Antonacci Salon

Denise Antonacci Salon is a force to be reckoned with, because you've got five extremely talented and amazing women in one area spreading beauty and self-confidence like wildfire.

This is a sponsored post by Denise Antonacci Salon. All opinions and statements are my own.
I was invited by Laurie Laine, one of my Instagram friends who also happens to be one of the salon's colorist & extension specialists, to come experience their salon for myself. I was so excited to have my color freshened up, and also scheduled myself an appointment that same visit with Courtney for a cut and style.

When I searched for information about the salon, I found out there were some pretty incredible selling points. The owner, Denise has quite the list of accolades:
The salon is located behind Whole Foods in the beautiful SouthPark area. The side street parking can sometimes be hard to come by depending on the time of day, but there is a super convenient and free retail parking garage right near the salon! I grabbed a spot in there and headed in for my appointment.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted like a VIP. With a huge smile on her face, Carolanne asked me if she could grab me something to drink (wine, please!) and escorted me to the back where my coat was hung up and a robe put on in it's place. I was seated in Laurie's chair as she welcomed me and brought Courtney over to discuss my cut/style ideas.

Courtney was great from the beginning, truly listening to my struggles and showing me the techniques she recommend to work with them at home. We came up with a plan while Laurie mixed my color, and then we got started!

Laurie was so easy to talk to, I felt like I was catching up with a childhood friend. We chatted the entire time she foiled my hair, my wine was refilled multiple times, and she just had this way of really making me feel like royalty. I learned that she is a fellow Floridian like me, has been killing it in the industry for 20+ years, and loves animals as much as I do!

Two of my favorite things about the salon itself were the massaging shampoo chairs, and the updated style of dryer chair. Instead of the big bowl that typically pulls down over your head, it's a heated disc that sits above your head, which is much more comfortable. Another thing I appreciated was that Laurie didn't rush the process. Some of my foils were taking a little longer than others to get the look we discussed, but she rinsed finished foils and put me under the dryer as much as it was needed. To top it off, she did't leave me sitting there, she sat down next to me and continued to chat with me. Carolanne even came back over and talked with us, too. It was as if I was the only person there, but I wasn't! As we talked, I watched the other stylists work on their clients and they are all just so gifted at what they do. Once my color was complete, Courtney began the cut and style and I felt like a new woman when they were finished.

And now the big reveal of my B & A. It's almost unbelievable what these two awesome ladies did for me! Before I left, all of the staff said their goodbyes and told me how gorgeous I was. I had an amazing time at Denise Antonacci Salon, walked out with a strut and smile, and most importantly new friendships.
